Each Team receives the following tags per year:
1 - Franchise Tag
1 - Transitiion Tag
1 - Offensive Restricted Tag
1 - Defensive Restricted Tag
You are NOT required to use the Tags!!!
The deadline for announcing tags is 48 hours following the NFL SUPERBOWL. If league fees are not paid on time then you forfeit the use of your Tags!!!

Aaron Rodgers is ineligible for the Transition Tag because his 2013 salary is $11,500...This exceeds the franchise value without the 20% increase of salary. He is only eligible for RFA or Franchise Tag... because you made this announcement prior to the Announcement Period (Mon, Feb 3rd-Tues, Feb 4th) you may redo your Tags with no penalty. |
