Section 4.01 Calendar
(a) Offseason:
(i) Start of Offseason: 12 midnight on the Sunday of the NFL Super Bowl.
1) League Fees for the new season are also due at this time and are discussed in detail in Article IV Section 4.01
(ii) Tag Designation Deadline: Tag Deadline is 48 hours after the NFL Super Bowl
(iii) Blind Tag Auction: 48 Hours after Tag Deadline for Bids.
(iv) Rookie Draft: 2nd Sunday following the start of the NFL Draft. Unless otherwise decided upon by League Vote.
(v) Supplemental Draft: 3rd Friday prior to OFAA until following Sunday.
(vi) Offseason Free Agent Auction (OFAA): Online Auction Draft which takes place the Sunday of the Second week of the NFL Preseason, excluding any Hall of Fame game.
1) Roster Freeze: All trades, contract offers, moves etc will not be allowed the week before the OFAA draft as there will be a weeklong roster freeze.
(b) Regular Season:
(i) Begins: On the Kickoff of Week One of the NFL Regular Season.
(ii) Trade Deadline is midnight on the Wednesday between the kickoff of week 11 and week 12 of the NFL Regular Season.
1) Trading resumes after the completion of the Blind Bid Tag Auction.
(c) Playoffs:
(i) Roster Lock Period: Kickoff Week 14 until completion of Championship Game- period in which no roster transactions of any kind can be made.
(ii) Weeks 14 & 15 of the NFL Regular Season.
(iii) SPFL Semi-Bowl: Week 16 of the NFL Regular Season.
